Here at Intrepid, we feel fortunate to work with some of the world’s most innovative companies and organizations. Every day we see how our customers are solving critical business and performance challenges by creating and delivering high impact digital learning experiences on Intrepid. We decided it was time to recognize our customers’ excellent digital learning practices, and we are thrilled to announce the inaugural Intrepid Momentum Awards!
What are the Intrepid Momentum Awards?
The Intrepid Momentum Awards recognize Intrepid’s talented and creative customers who are innovating digital learning to be more connected, applied and effective at building real-world skills. From our experience working with hundreds of customers over the past several years, we’ve identified several components that make for great digital learning experiences. These include creating a compelling visual design, offering engaging opportunities for learner collaboration and practice, and providing motivating program communications and moderation. With these best practice areas in mind, we created eleven award categories for the Intrepid Momentum Awards.
How did we select the winners?
We announced the Intrepid Momentum Awards in December 2022, and accepted submissions through February 2023. After submissions were gathered, a group of Intrepid experts across our learning experience design, product and account teams reviewed the submissions. The Intrepid evaluators selected winners based on those that applied the best learning practices for each category. Winners were recognized and celebrated in a private ceremony on March 30, 2023.
Intrepid Momentum Award winners include Chick-fil-A, Cylient, Deloitte, The Ken Blanchard Companies, ServiceNow, UnitedHealthcare, and Visa among others.
JR Burch, Director of Learning Experience Design at Intrepid envisioned and led the creation of the Intrepid Momentum Awards. He shared his thoughts on the leading practices these awards seek to highlight: “The Intrepid Momentum Award winners demonstrated inspiring practices in collaborative learning experience design. Their innovations take workplace learning beyond the status quo and introduce new levels of engagement in digital learning. These best practices are ones that don’t just connect learners to content but enable them to be true learning co-creators by giving them opportunities to share their own unique experiences, ideas, and expertise with others, as well as providing them a safe place to practice what they learn and apply it to their work.”
Intrepid will partner with select Intrepid Momentum Award winners to share their best practices with learning leaders through many industry forums. Stay tuned!
