2025 Momentum Award Winner Highlights

Best Overall Course – Blanchard | Business Acumen Foundations

Best Overall Course – Blanchard - Business Acumen Foundations

This program was built with range and relevance in mind—supporting both new hire onboarding and upskilling for tenured employees. The goal? To help every employee at Blanchard understand how the business works and how their role drives success.

What sets it apart is the collaborative spirit behind the content: nearly 60 employees contributed stories, insights, and even recorded colleague spotlight videos to bring the material to life.

Learning is applied, not just absorbed. Cohort discussions prompt meaningful reflection—like, “Share a powerful moment you’ve witnessed within a Blanchard solution.” The course builds toward a final Mission (or project) that challenges participants to develop strategic, measurable goals grounded in business impact.

And it’s gamified in all the right ways: learners earn Intrepid points and “B.Bright” points for collaboration and progress, with real-world incentives tied to engagement.

Behind the scenes, the experience is powered by a strong communications strategy—scheduled emails, nudges, and an active chat space kept the cohort connected and motivated.

Learners have taken notice. One participant shared: “This course has been timely to realign my own personal perspective, attitude, and contributions that make a positive difference in our internal and client partnerships.”

Blanchard’s Business Acumen Foundations is a model for how learning can be collaborative, strategic, and deeply human.

Best Time-Released Program – ServiceNow | ServiceNow Sales Academy

Best Time-Released Program – ServiceNow - ServiceNow Sales Academy

ServiceNow’s global onboarding experience helps new sales hires ramp up quickly by combining live sessions, case studies, and self-paced learning. Over six weeks, learners walk through a simulated three-year customer journey—practicing strategies for every stage, from prospecting to renewal.

Group collaboration is central to the experience. Learners complete real-world tasks like crafting prospecting emails and conducting business reviews, with dedicated instructors offering feedback through @mentions and check-ins.

Weekly live sessions, solution demos, and CRM training bring learners together, and the program culminates in a Final Presentation Certification, where participants deliver a 20–30 minute Customer Review to a panel of judges.

The entire experience is supported by a smart email strategy that follows the learning rhythm, plus badges to track progress, weekly feedback loops, and modern, branded visuals that tie it all together.

It’s an outstanding example of how time-released learning can be engaging, practical, and performance-driven.

Best Always-On Program – UnitedHealthcare | Drive to Digital Learning Portal

Best Always-On Program – UnitedHealthcare

UnitedHealthcare’s Drive to Digital program equips call center reps with the tools and confidence to support members using digital resources like the UHC app and myuhc.com. It’s fully self-paced and designed for immediate application.

Through interactive demos, real-life scenarios, practice simulations, and practical communication techniques, learners build the skills to not only answer member questions — but to guide them through digital tools so they can find answers on their own in the future. It’s a smart and proactive strategy that helps reduce the need for members to call in, while delivering faster, more efficient support.

The program also reinforces a core mindset of call ownership — reminding reps that they are empowered to solve digital navigation issues directly, without transferring the call to another team.

With over 12,000 learners, the experience is fully self-paced and rich in resources, including documentation, toolkits, links, and videos, making it accessible anytime a rep needs a refresher or support.

One of the program’s biggest achievements was aligning five major lines of business under one unified curriculum. Before Drive to Digital, each line had vastly different training. Now, thanks to a centralized and consistent approach, everyone is learning the same core tools and strategies.

And the impact?

  • A 76% year-over-year increase in mobile app visits
  • A 56% increase in member chats

A clear sign that this learning is translating into real-world digital engagement.

Most Impactful Results – CoreLogic | PagerDuty Foundations

Most Impactful Results – CoreLogic - PagerDuty Foundations

This program was all about technical upskilling — helping employees across different roles learn how to navigate and optimize PagerDuty, a key system for incident management and system reliability.

Using Intrepid’s SCORM compatibility, CoreLogic built a unified experience by bringing in training content from PagerDuty University and customizing it for three different learner types: Managers, Responders, and Stakeholders. Everyone had the structure and support they needed, right-sized for their role.

But the real story is in the numbers.

Before this program launched, CoreLogic was triggering 143 million PagerDuty events per month, a massive amount of noise and disruption across the business.

After launching the program, they achieved a 98.13% reduction in PagerDuty events. That’s not a typo — nearly all of that operational noise is now gone.

This had a direct enterprise-wide impact: reduced incident noise, improved operational efficiency, and a proactive, informed approach to incident management — all driven by training.

CoreLogic didn’t just teach a tool — they transformed the way their teams work, setting a new benchmark for strategic enablement at scale.

Best Communication Strategy – CoreLogic | The Cloud Enablement GCP Fundamentals Program

Best Communication Strategy – CoreLogic - The Cloud Enablement GCP Fundamentals Program

CoreLogic’s GCP Fundamentals Program demonstrates what a well-rounded and intentional communication strategy can look like — especially when you’re supporting a global audience across time zones and job functions.

The communication journey begins before learners even start the program. The team sends out application and kickoff emails not just to learners, but also to IT leadership — aligning all stakeholders with the program’s goals and expectations from day one.

Once cohorts are confirmed, learners are invited to Spark Sessions — real-time virtual gatherings designed to build community, surface questions, and connect learners with Subject Matter Experts. These sessions are scheduled across regions to ensure accessibility for everyone.

Throughout the course, learners receive weekly update emails packed with milestone reminders, guidance, and shout-outs to top performers and contributors — reinforcing both motivation and momentum. The communication strategy also includes Office Hours and live support at key moments, so learners always feel like help is just a click away.

What really stands out is the manager involvement — the team sends regular progress updates to each learner’s manager, creating an extra layer of support and accountability. Once a learner completes the program, they receive a digital badge and everyone sees the impact — through metrics and appreciation messages celebrating their efforts.

Finally, the team delivers a comprehensive report to leadership, summarizing feedback, performance metrics, and recommendations for future cohorts — turning communication into a full-circle feedback loop.

The result? Sustained learner engagement across seven cohorts in three years, consistently high satisfaction scores, and a strategy that improves year over year.

Best Moderation of a Class – ServiceNow | Architecture Excellence (ArchX)

Best Moderation of a Class – ServiceNow - Architecture Excellence (ArchX)

ArchX is a four-week, global, fully asynchronous program with no live sessions, making thoughtful moderation absolutely critical.

The team created dedicated discussion spaces for each module, as well as a general discussion thread where learners could ask questions, share resources, and connect across topics.

What’s amazing is that learners were so engaged, they asked for more, requesting a space just for open-ended conversation. That thread quickly became a hub for stress-relief tips, key takeaways, even real-time feedback on the learning experience, some of which the team acted on right away to improve the course.

Facilitators weren’t just watching, they were present and active. They celebrated contributions through announcements and emails, spotlighted learners by name, and curated data from discussions, assignments, and badges to reflect back the energy of the group.

By the end of the program, many learners had formed strong connections and committed to staying in touch beyond the course, continuing their learning journeys together on LinkedIn and beyond.

ArchX shows that even in an asynchronous setting, with the right moderation strategy, you can foster real connection, community, and deep learner engagement.

Most Impactful Video Assignment – Genesee & Wyoming Inc. | Conflict Management

Most Impactful Video Assignment – Genesee & Wyoming Inc. - Conflict Management

This course at Genesee & Wyoming Inc. was designed for managers and supervisors in the freight railroad industry, helping them build critical conflict resolution skills.

In the individual video assignment, learners were given a realistic workplace scenario — a conflict between two of their direct reports — and were asked to respond using a structured, three-step resolution process.

The team turned on AI Coach, giving learners the ability to rehearse and receive actionable suggestions before submitting. They also enabled Smart Scoring, providing immediate feedback and a confidence boost once the video was submitted.

The results were strong, with 65% of learners completing the assignment and receiving scores, with positive feedback about the ability to practice, adjust, and improve before final submission.

Facilitators also used the Smart Scoring insights to follow up with targeted feedback, and learners responded so well that many requested the next version include a role-play version with a peer.

This program shows how powerful video assignments can be, not just for practice and feedback, but for building skills that stick.

Best Group Project – Omnicom Media Group | OMG Accelerate

Best Group Project – Omnicom Media Group - OMG Accelerate

OMG Accelerate is a global leadership experience focused on connection, collaboration, and transformation. Over 660 leaders from around the world participated, and the design of the program ensured they weren’t just consuming content, they were actively creating value together.

Each participant started by identifying a real-world challenge they were facing in their role. They were then grouped based on common factors like location, company, or discipline, and began collaborating to define the problem, share expertise, and develop a solution.

From there, groups were paired with others facing similar issues, expanding the collaboration into larger cohorts to compare approaches and refine their ideas even further.

The top submissions moved into a peer presentation round, with the best of the best being selected to present to OMG’s Global Board, where real solutions could be put on a path to implementation.

The results? 100% of groups submitted their challenges on time, compared to just 75% the year before when the assignment was individual. That’s a huge win for collaboration, and for learning that leads to action.

Most Impactful Project – Daikin | Ignite 2024 Capstone

Most Impactful Project – Daikin - Ignite 2024 Capstone

This capstone is the final milestone in a year-long training program designed for recent college graduates entering the HVAC industry, many with no prior corporate experience. It’s a rich and immersive program that combines technical training, Salesforce skills, job shadowing, mentorship, and site visits across more than seven Daikin locations and factories.

Throughout the program, Intrepid serves as the central hub, housing the calendar, participant support, 360° virtual tours, travel logistics, and more.

The final capstone simulates a real customer challenge, requiring participants to partner with actual Daikin engineers and subcontractors. Working in small teams, they collect real estimates, draft detailed proposals, and input scoped solutions directly into Salesforce.

These projects aren’t just hypothetical. They include engineering drawings, mechanical and electrical quotes, permit applications, and hardware specs for large-scale systems of up to 400 tons.

Capstone presentations take place live during onsite training sessions, giving learners the chance to present their work and demonstrate how far they’ve come.

And the impact? The first graduating class cost $2 million to train and they’ve already delivered nearly $13 million in revenue in their first year on the job. That’s real-world application and a truly impactful capstone project.

Best Visual Design (Tie) – Microsoft | Constructive Conversations

Best Visual Design – Microsoft - Constructive Conversations

Constructive Conversations is a self-paced learning experience designed to help learners navigate complex and sometimes uncomfortable workplace conversations. It uses Intrepid’s badge release feature to unlock content in a thoughtful, progressive way, helping learners build confidence step by step.

Visually, this Microsoft program is stunning. It blends photography and soft, circular shapes that subtly reinforce the human nature of conversation. The image design is consistent across the homepage, content pages, and communications, giving the class a distinct and polished personality.

Icons are used with purpose — to clarify content types and support navigation. Each section flows clearly into the next, with color gradients that shift over time, adding a feeling of progression as learners move through the material.

Module-specific banners, formatted text, visual dividers, and well-placed imagery all help learners stay oriented and focused. The result is a clean, elegant, and thoughtful experience, one that looks great and feels great to move through.

Best Visual Design (Tie) – Chick-fil-A | New Operator Fundamentals

Best Visual Design – Chick-fil-A - New Operator Fundamentals

This onboarding experience welcomes new Chick-fil-A restaurant operators and helps them connect to the brand, the culture, and the operational side of leading a restaurant.

The program blends virtual and hands-on learning, including travel to the Restaurant Support Center and meaningful connections with peers over several weeks.

Visually, the site is instantly recognizable. It has strong red-and-white branding, consistent iconography, and a clean, engaging layout that feels unmistakably “Chick-fil-A.”

Custom visuals and helpful graphics are embedded throughout, from tiles to videos to navigation. The tone is fun, simple, and intentional, reflecting both the professionalism and warmth of the Chick-fil-A brand.

It’s a great example of how to use design to immerse learners in the brand and create a seamless, engaging experience from start to finish.

Most Creative Use of a Mission – Blanchard | Business Acumen Foundations

intrepid momentum award winner - blanchard

This program was designed to serve both new and seasoned employees, helping them better understand how the business works, how decisions are made, and what role each person plays in driving results.

Throughout the course, learners try on real-world business scenarios, using a decision-making framework to assess whether they’d say “yes,” “no,” or “maybe… if.” They attend virtual Scrimmage sessions to walk through these scenarios, and then break into small groups to dive deeper.

Over time, learners begin to build a new mindset — one that helps them better understand and plan their impact within teams, and ultimately on the business.

This journey culminates in a final Mission that’s essentially a strategic analysis and action plan. Learners walk through seven thoughtfully designed steps to produce a submission that combines meaningful insights with strategic, measurable goals.

They reflect on the context behind their decisions, why those decisions matter, how the new framework applies to their own work, and what they’ll do moving forward. It’s structured, reflective, and deeply personal — exactly what a great Mission should be.

One learner said: “I understood that decisions had an impact on the bottom line. But after taking this course, I now see how those decisions actually play out. So incredibly valuable.”

Most Engaging Discussion – GP Strategies | Leadership AI

Most Engaging Discussion – GP Strategies - Leadership AI

GP Strategies‘ Leadership AI program is a blended cohort learning experience designed to help leaders explore and embrace the possibilities of AI in their teams and organizations.

One particular discussion prompt stood out: “What are your ethical concerns about AI?” It drove an extraordinary level of learner engagement, with over 70% of learners participating.

But this wasn’t just about quantity. The depth and quality of the responses were what really made this discussion shine. Learners shared thoughtful reflections, expressed real concerns, and responded to one another — creating an active, meaningful dialogue.

The conversation became a space for people to reflect on the real-world implications of AI not just as a tool, but as a force that impacts ethics, leadership, decision-making, and team dynamics.

For many learners, this discussion provided clarity, sparked new questions, and became a valuable moment of collaborative learning and thinking around a fast-evolving topic. It was a powerful reminder that when you create the right space, learners will show up with honesty, curiosity, and perspective.
